The Oncology Children's Foundation (OCF) has been chosen as a beneficiary for the 2008 JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge in Centennial Park Sydney on November 12th.  OCF is dedicated to finding a cure for childhood cancer.

Conducted in 12 cities in six countries on five continents, the 2008 JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge Series will allow the JPMorgan Chase Foundation to provide more than $700,000AUD to not-for-profit organizations.  To find out more about the event, go to http://www.jpmorganchasecc.com

A donation to OCF from The JPMorgan Chase Foundation for each entry will help fund the OCF/Team Swans Healthy Choices Community Program.

Aimed at school children in year five and six, the program is designed to encourage students to understand that they are in control of the choices they make. If promotes the idea of "Healthy Body, Healthy Mind" and these sessions highlight the importance of taking responsibility to make healthy choices in all aspects of their life.

"The donation provides the Sydney business community with one more reason to feel good about their participation in the Corporate Challenge" said Rob Priestley, Senior Country Officer, JPMorgan Australia and New Zealand.  "We're proud that our event not only provides a night of healthy competition and camaraderie for full-time workers, but also gives back meaningfully to the community".

New in 2008, JPMorgan is supporting the Oncology Children's Foundation's fundraising efforts by helping them seek the direct support of race participants. Should you elect to do so, JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge teams and participants have the opportunity to create an online fundraising page and approach friends, family and colleagues for a donation. Each donation is recorded on the page, along with messages of encouragement from supporters.

If you and your organisation are interested in supporting the OCF, through your involvement with the Corporate Challenge then please get a head start, and create your fundraising page today.
